Apart from residences, the neighbourhood community will be equipped with a range of shopping, leisure and entertainment facilities, alongside government, institution and community facilities, so as to serve the future students, teaching staff, researchers and healthcare professionals from the UniTown and Integrated Hospital. In view of the development positioning of NTM NDA, the housing will predominantly be private.
There will be an open space network radiating from the NTM station. Major open spaces will be lined with commercial and leisure facilities, facilitating interactions of people, and meeting the social needs of the younger generation, creating an array of open and diverse living spaces. The open space network will extend along the revitalised nullah in an east-west direction, serving as a key pedestrian and cyclist corridor across NTM.
